Changing default map view

I have a suggestion for the default map view for the shuttle tracker.

Instead of using Satellite view, is there way so that you can make Map view the default viewing mode? I suggest this because the satellite view produces a lot of clutter, and doesn't make the locations of the shuttles immediately apparent.

This is especially true when viewing the site on a smartphone, as I and many other people do.
